Star anise, cinnamon sticks, rose petals, cloves, some dry blue berries and frozen cranberries, lemon and honey for a delicious Sunday afternoon tea with a slice of pie or cake, during winter, is the most rewarding treat. I'm very satisfied with GrassRoots Star anise.

My son suffers of hypertension/renal failure. To maintain his renal reading at a satisfactory level, I prepare an infusion of cornsilk, along with other supplements and it has proven to be a deterrent to bubbling urine, caused by too much protein n the blood. The best cornsilk is the fresh one, but since that is not possible, for I'd have to buy dozens of corn n the cob just to get the silk, I turned to dry --not ideal, but it helps. This cornsilk is the only one I purchase as a home remedy to alleviate my son's problem.

Usually, I do not place reviews, good or bad, for every business has its bad apples, sometimes. When I do not like the customer service or when the quality of the product, repeatedly, has failed, I just go somewhere else. Being a silly customer is embarrassing.

We've been battling with a nasty cold/sinus since the crazy weather has forced us to live day time AC, by night heater. There's where elder berry comes to our rescue, along with other supplements such as cinnamon sticks, star anise, eucalyptus, combined with lemon and pure honey. Two are healed, I am still struggling with stuffy/runny nose. Elder berry whole is the best as a decongestant of the nasal/respiratory system. Very pleased with the product and highly recommend it to prevent and combat cold/flu.
