We’re Jenn and Sterling Mitchell, the husband-and-wife team behind Grassroots Herb Supply, LLC and Grassroots Exotics.

What began in 2010 as a small passion project has grown into a thoughtfully curated collection of more than 200 dried botanicals—and now, a growing collection of beautiful and unique houseplants through Grassroots Exotics.

From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: to thoughtfully source products we’re proud to offer and build a business rooted in quality, transparency, and care. Through Grassroots Herb Supply, that means sourcing high-quality botanicals from growers who share our commitment to responsible growing and harvesting practices. Through Grassroots Exotics, it means bringing that same thoughtful approach to selecting healthy, beautiful plants for your home and collection.

While our roots are in herbs, our love for growing things has always gone a little deeper. Grassroots Exotics felt like a natural extension of what we’ve spent more than 15 years building—a new way to share our love of plants, nature, and intentional living with the community that has supported us along the way.
