Shipping Policy
Grassroots Herb Supply & Exotics ships carefully selected dried botanicals and live plants directly to your door. Because dried botanical products and live plants have different shipping requirements, please review the information below that applies to your order.
🌿 Grassroots Herb Supply
We offer FREE standard domestic shipping on Grassroots Herb Supply orders of $35 or more within the United States.
Orders under $35 are charged shipping based on the shipping method selected at checkout. Orders are shipped via USPS or UPS, with expedited shipping options available for an additional fee when offered at checkout.
Our current processing time is 2–3 business days. Please note that purchasing an expedited shipping service shortens the carrier's transit time but does not change our standard processing time.
🪴 Grassroots Exotics
Live plant orders will ship within 2-3 business days for a flat rate of $15 within the the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states), with FREE shipping on live plant orders of $75 or more.
Because we are shipping living plants, we take extra care when preparing orders for transit. Transit time will average 3 days. Plants are securely packaged to help protect foliage, roots, and growing media throughout their journey.
Some temporary stress following shipment—including slight drooping, minor cosmetic damage, or the loss of an older leaf—can be a normal response to transit. Allow your new plant time to acclimate to its new environment after arrival.
❄️ Cold Weather Shipping
Live plants are sensitive to extreme temperatures. If the average daytime temperature at your delivery destination is below 50°F, we strongly recommend adding Cold Weather Protection to your order.
Cold Weather Protection includes additional insulation and a 72+ hour heat pack designed to help protect your plant from low temperatures during transit.
Please check your local forecast before ordering and add Cold Weather Protection to your order here if the projected forecast will be below 50°F. Temperature-related damage is not covered by the Grassroots Guarantee when Cold Weather Protection is recommended but declined.
🌱 The Grassroots Guarantee
We promise that every plant will arrive in good condition or we'll make it right—that's our Grassroots Guarantee.
If there is an issue with your plant upon arrival, please contact us within 24 HOURS of delivery and include clear photographs of the plant, packaging, and any visible damage so we can help.
The Grassroots Guarantee applies to the condition of the plant at the time of delivery and does not cover damage resulting from improper care, repotting, environmental conditions after delivery, or failure to retrieve a delivered package promptly.
📦 General Shipping Information
Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Please review your shipping information carefully before submitting your order.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, severe weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless an error was made by Grassroots Herb Supply & Exotics.
📍 Delivered Packages
All orders are shipped with tracking so that both the customer and Grassroots Herb Supply & Exotics have confirmation of the shipment's delivery status.
Orders marked as delivered by the shipping carrier are considered successfully delivered and are not eligible for replacement or refund due to non-receipt.
If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you are unable to locate it, we recommend checking with other members of your household, neighbors, your property's mailroom or parcel area, and contacting the shipping carrier directly. In some cases, carriers may mark packages as delivered shortly before the package is physically delivered.
Grassroots Herb Supply & Exotics is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after carrier-confirmed delivery.
