We keep plant shipping simple. Grassroots Exotics plant orders ship for a flat $15 within the the contiguous US (the lower 48 states), with complimentary shipping on plant purchases of $75 or more. Your plants are carefully packaged and shipped to you within 2-4 business days. We prefer to ship earlier in the week, that way your plants won't be stuck in transit over the weekend. Transit time will average 2-4 business days and tracking info will be automatically sent to you once they're on the way.

Live plants require a little more TLC than your average package. Each plant is individually secured to keep the growing medium in place, protect delicate foliage and minimize movement during transit. We carefully select packaging based on the size and needs of each plant so it arrives safely to you, ready to settle into its new home. We promise that every plant will come in good condition or we'll send you a new one for free. That's the Grassroots Guarantee!

Because plants are living things, the weather along their journey matters. During Winter months, you must purchase Cold Weather Protection heat packs to protect your plants when average daytime temperatures at your destination are expected to fall below 50°F. Plants that are damaged due to cold temperatures where Cold Weather Protection was not purchased, will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
