Ingredients: Camellia sinensis 
Common Name: Chun Mei, Chunmee, eyebrow tea
Origin: China

Aroma and Flavor: Fruity rather than sweet infusion, with notes of plum and apricot in the perfume.
Directions: Pour 8 oz of simmering water (180° F preferred) over 1 tsp. of tea. Steep 2-3 minutes.

Camillia sinensis is a small Asian shrub that produces the leaves from which green, black, white, and oolong teas are made. This tea is specific to the Jiangxi province of Southeastern China where it is known as Chun Mei, which translates to “precious eyebrows”. The leaves are carefully hand rolled to the shape of eyebrows, which is how it got its nick name. Chun Mei produces a highly fragrant, yellow-greenish brew with a distinctive, sweet flavor, and is known for its plum-like sweetness and smoothness.
