Coconut Oil, 76 Degree, Food Grade

Our Food Grade 76 Degree Coconut Oil is refined, bleached, and deodorized and is generally the first choice for cold-process soap making. It no longer has the coconut smell and taste. It is a liquid above 76 degrees Fahrenheit and a solid below. Available in 7 pound bottles or 44 lb pails.

Coconut Oil prevents dry, chapped skin, and is a Soap Making favorite during the cold, dry, months of the Fall and Winter. Coconut Oil doesn't blog pores, so it's a wonderful Carrier Oil / Fixed Oil / Base Oil to use on sensitive or problem skin. It has a high concentration of medium chain triglycerides consisting mostly of short chain fatty acids. Coconut oil is highly stable against oxidation and is frequently used in applications where long shelf life is desired.
